I had a faulty Curve 9320 and sent it back to Virgin, who replaced it.
Before that I backed up on a Windows laptop using Blackberry Desktop.
But when I connect the new phone, I get a message on the phone saying device can't charge and to check cable. I've tried several.
The PC doesn't recognise a device is asks me to connect.
I've spent hours trying fixes I've seen on various forums, mainly involving removing software, replacing and hard rebooting. I've reloaded the drivers from Virgin.
Many mention activating storage mode but the version I have doesn't have a separate options for that.
Can anyone help? It's my contacts I want back more than anything else. Many thanks
