RE: issue with backing up contacts not backing up

Hi, I'm asking for a friend who is using a Bold 9900 and OS 7.1. She used to used BlackBerry Desktop to back up her contacts but as of late the software is not backing up her contacts. Anyone know of this issue and why it's happening? I'm a BlackBerry Passport user so I have to admit I'm in unfamiliar territory. Thanks for the help in advance.
