My son (just starting high school) was given a BB7 Blackberry by a relative. It is still on a data plan BUT only until months end when it will be switched over to a Talk & Text only prepaid service along. While still able to get apps from Blackberry World are there any must haves?
I've heard the 'Opera Lite' browser is a must have since the default won't run without a data plan - is this true?
Ones which comes to mind would be offline maps, some games which don't need a connection (not sure if true with BB7 games, but few free iOS games will run without a Data plan).
Looking for those which are FREE or close to free since the entire reason for changing plans is a real tight budget.
Problem is that it seems that unlike android apps, even though the device will have WiFi access (both at home & at school) Blackberry World can't be connected to unless you have a data plan.
